Certis Security Australia is pleased to welcome to our Sydney office a new Business Unit, Certis Technology AU. The four-person team will work closely with the existing Security Solutions Team (SST) to pitch, design, deliver and maintain integrated solutions to the Australian Market, re-engineering solutions including Security+ and Business Process Re-Engineering & Operations (BPRO®) to improve outcomes.
Certis Technology AU is part of Certis Security Australia’s ongoing efforts to deliver modern, bespoke solutions to all customer concerns, focusing on the technology which manages and controls the physical processes and machinery already in place, including CCTV and our Access Control System. The new team will be complemented by the existing Operations-Technology Team, which focuses on designing and working with the IT Team to develop and deliver Information Technology and data-driven solutions, including BOSS and Digitalisation applications.
Three new team members have already been welcomed into the Certis family and have been keeping in close contact during the Sydney lockdown.
Project Manager Arun Kumar Murugesan brings 24 years of experience in Integrated Security Management and Building Automation Systems around the world, having worked across a wide spectrum of verticals including Hospitals, Data Centres, Banks, Schools, Commercial Buildings, Resorts & High Security Industrial Sites. With an incredible track record of operations management of multiple sites and delivering projects with improved margins, Murugesan brings with him a scope of work that will be invaluable to the new Certis Technology team.
Murugesan's interest in Certis Security Australia was inspired by the opportunities we offer to protect people and assets, particularly through proven technologies and innovative practices.
“The concept of integrating technology with manpower to deliver the most effective technological solutions to customers is exciting,” said Murugesan. “Certis is a leader in putting technological advances into practice to improve the safety, security and quality of life for the common man, and I’m looking forward to being part of that.”
With seven years’ experience in business analysis and business process improvements, Ali Hosseini will be indispensable as Certis Technology AU’s Business Analyst. Hosseini has a history of work in the manufacturing, IT, finance and wholesale industries, and brings five years of experience in software development and data analysis to the team. He has been honing his computer programming skills since the age of 12, developing his passion for process improvement and robotic process automation. Having recently worked as a Robotic Process Automation Business Analyst, Hosseini is excited to expand the technological solutions available to the Australian market.
“Starting in a fresh team and helping a business establish a new value proposition is always exciting, especially in a great company like Certis,” said Hosseini. “The adventure our team started and the great team spirit in Certis Technology is definitely a bonus.”
Finally, Certis is pleased to welcome David Brindle as Certis Technology AU’s Operation Technology (OT) Engineer. A licensed Security Consultant in NSW and ACT, Brindle has been involved in the Electronic Security Industry since 2003, though his passion for security was cemented when he worked on the Winter Olympic Games in Whistler in 2010. Skilled in Physical Security, Hardware Installation, Network Infrastructure, Computer Server Hardware and Commissioning, Brindle brings a breadth of knowledge perfectly suited to Certis Security Australia’s all-inclusive systems. Like many Certis employees, Brindle has a demonstrated history of working in integrated Security Management Systems (SMS) on Defence bases and as part of Law Enforcement Agencies, Correctional Facilities, Logistics and Commercial Security Applications as an experienced Operation Technology Specialist.
Brindle is particularly looking forward to working with the team to bring new technology solutions to the Australian market, particularly when it comes to Artificial Intelligence systems.
“When I was offered the opportunity to work in a small, specialist team with a focus on new technology not yet seen in Australia, it was a unique chance I felt I’d regret not taking. While household robots and consumer drones do already exist on the domestic market, being present in the early days of commercial automated systems in public places is extremely exciting.”
The Certis Technology Australian team look forward to harnessing their passions and experience to bring innovative solutions to the wider Australian market.
